Tudor “The steel Home Plate ref 7032/0”. Status: sold

Extremely rare steel Tudor “Home Plate” ref. 7032/0 manufactured in 1971. This early model features an amazing grey dial with black subdials, orange highlights and date window at 6 o’clock. Units per hours scale engraved in the bezel, screw down chronograph pushers. The luminous has aged to a warm ivory color. The Tudor ‘Home Plate’ ref. 7032/0 represents one of the most sought after and rare Tudor chronographs in the market.

Introduced in 1971, reference 7032/0 is incredibly rare: it was produced for a few years only and it was conceived for racing drivers. The name “Home Plate” is inspired by the tritium hour markers shape.
