Extremely rare Jaeger LeCoultre “DeepSea Alarm” ref. E857, manufactured in 1960.
Launched in 1968 the DeepSea Alarm was in production for only 3 years. It was a very innovative timepiece since it represents the first diving watch with an alarm function that indicates to the diver the time to go back to the surface.
The present example is preserved in overall wonderful condition. The charming dial is enhanced by the warm ivory tone of the hands.
This DeepSea Alarm is definitely a rare and extraordinary specimen for discerning vintage collectors.
