Breathtaking example of Rolex steel Daytona “Paul Newman” ref. 6264, manufactured in 1970.
The white grené dial is preserved in outstanding condition, with no imperfections, and it creates a wonderful harmony with the red “Daytona” text, the black registers, the outer second track and its black acrylic bezel.
Introduced in the beginning of the 1970’s, reference 6264 was produced for only a short time and it is considered to be one of the rarest Daytona models produced. It was powered with the 727 Valjoux caliber, which was an upgrade from the caliber 722-1, used by predecessors such as references 6239 or 6241.
