Exceedingly rare steel Rolex Daytona ref. 6265, manufactured in 1979.
Made for the Sultanate of Oman, the present specimen is preserved in spectacular condition.
The flawless dial features the prestigious white Khanjar logo at the 6 o’clock register making it one of the rarest and sought after Daytona ever appeared in the market.
During the 1970s, His Majesty Qaboos bin Said Al Said, the Sultan of Oman commissioned Rolex to produce an extremely limited number of timepieces often featuring the Khanjar logo, or His Highness’ signature either at 6 o’clock, or 9 o’clock. Watches with “Khanjar” dials were presented as gifts to the closest dignitaries and officials.
