Outstanding and exceedingly rare steel Patek Philippe ref. 5950A, sold in 2014.

Launched at Baselworld in 2010, reference 5950 perfectly represents Patek Philippe constant strive for technical supremacy: it was the thinnest column wheel chronograph movement ever made, furthermore single button and split seconds. Caliber CHR 27-525 PS, was also Patek Philippe’s first fully in-house designed and manufactured chronograph movement.

This jewel of technique is coupled with the timeless Belle Epoque styling, characterized by a cushion case and floral motives at the corners of the dial.

Made for the brand’s best clients only, the steel reference 5950 stands out for the magnificent opaline silvered dial with its raised, applied black gold Breguet numerals.

The attention to details present in this timepiece, as the decorations in the frame of the movement (visible through the glazed case back) and the buckle enriched with the same pattern, represent a never-ending source of pleasure for any discerning collector.

The present 5950A is preserved in immaculate condition and comes with all of its original accessories.

It definitely represents one of the most important and rare Patek Philippe timepiece featuring the highest level of complication.
